What is the makeup of the ISS School Council?

The ISS School Council is a hybrid-council made up from parents, teachers and experts from the community. Up to 6 members are elected from the parent body and serve 3 year terms.  A total of 4 members can be appointed by the Council to fill expert roles and maintain ethnic and gender balance.  There are two yearly staff-elected representatives, one from the Primary School and one from the Secondary School. The alumni also select a representative from their membership to Council.  The school Principal sits ex officio. To see our current Council members, click here.
